I'm doing the wave in my office right now...

Hey Friends and Family of TCC,

Many of you stopped me in the lobby or wrote on your Connection Card or sent me an email to let me know how powerful last Sunday was for you. One woman was in tears as she expressed her gratitude for how the service and communion time had reached into her heart with God’s love. She said that she had never been able to understand the Bible but here at TCC, we make it so real and accessible. I am so grateful to be part of a church of amazing servants as we work together to lead as many people as possible into a growing relationship with Jesus.

One individual came up to me in the lobby to talk about how excellent everything was in his experience at Easter. He was visiting from out of town and has been active in church most of his life. He wanted me to know and to thank all of you for how diligent we are in doing everything with excellence from the time you pull into the parking lot until you leave. I want to give a big cheer to all the amazing volunteers who serve and give so that others can experience Jesus. If you could see me, I’m doing the wave in my office right now.

Our entire staff gathered this morning to pray for the fifteen missionaries we are sending to our partner church in Uganda. As I looked around the room, I was deeply moved by the heart God has given us for people. I’ve had several conversations with people concerning how thrilled they are at our local community involvement. We can also celebrate the people who choose to make a huge sacrifice and go global as we share the love of Jesus.

This Sunday, will be our second message in the Good Life series. Last week, we laid the foundation for the messages to come, and if you weren’t here, I want to ask you to please watch the service so you can be ready to fully engage on Sunday. This week, I’m going to talk about a key concept we will need to embrace and own if we’re going to experience the rich and satisfying life Jesus promised to those who love Him. Both of these messages are key to knowing the Good Life God offers.
