Exciting Opportunities Ahead - Please Pray!

Hey Friends and Family of TCC,

Thank you so much for your faith in what God wants to do in the life of your family and friends. So many of you invited your friends and family to our 2014 Easter services. What an experience we had together as we celebrated the resurrection! I am in awe of your continued self-sacrifice and humble attitude that allows you to continue to put the needs of those who haven’t YET said YES to Jesus before your own. I am praying for all the seeds that were planted as we talked through the hope we have because of the resurrection.

There are a few things I want to mention for your prayer focus and attention. First, the landscaping has begun in the area in front of our facility. We hope to get that completed and the grass installed before summer begins.

Second, we’re moving forward with the design portion of the new Prayer Garden outside of the Children’s Ministry wing. I am eager to see what this does to our ever-growing passion for prayer.

Third, our architect is working to complete the latest version of our Master Plan so we can get a look at our future gymnasium/meeting space/kitchen. You can continue to give to the Courtyard Fund to help with costs incurred to get this completed and to fund our future building project.

Fourth, our U10 Mission Team leaves on April 30 for Uganda. We’ll have a commissioning prayer for them this Sunday.

Fifth, this weekend is our quarterly benevolence offering that benefits those in our church who are hurting financially and our monthly Food Drive that benefits Interfaith Food Ministry.  Please come with your offering and non-perishable foods so that we can help unleash compassion and serve our community.

Sixth, on May 4 immediately after the 3rd service, the M3 Mission Team will have a celebration time to report all God did in and through them in Mexico. I hope you will make time to come and be inspired by their stories of life-change.

Seventh, we begin our Good Life series this weekend and observe Communion. I hope you will make a special attempt to be there in commemoration of all Jesus has done for you.

This leaves me with a lump in my throat. I love you so much and want to give you a shout out of affection. See you Sunday.
