I am so eager with anticipation for Sunday. This is going to be a day of clarity and celebration. On Sunday morning, I’m going to talk about how we believe God is going to use us in the coming year to accomplish His purposes in and through us. The really cool thing about engaging with God in building His Kingdom is that He uses the process to change us AND bless the world. I’m going to walk us through the pieces of our mission – “To lead as many people as possible into a growing relationship with Jesus.”
I’ll do my best to share with you what we believe is a holistic approach to doing ministry as a church family for the next season. I’ve been eager to share this with you for a few months, but the timing just hasn’t been right. But, now is the perfect time. You won’t want to miss Sunday morning.
Sunday evening will be even more fired up as we come back at 6:00pm to celebrate all God has done, in and through us, in 2013 to bring His love to our community. I can’t wait to cheer and maybe even shout as we humbly and in awe share the wonderful ways God has blessed us as we’ve walked with Him to share His love and compassion here in Western Nevada County.
I’m asking you to go deep with me this weekend and attend Sunday morning AND Sunday evening. Both services will help you see how we’re all part of the amazing things God is doing. Sunday evening will also include our choir, baptisms, acknowledgement of God’s work, singing and stories from TCC folks.
The Coffee Bar will be open afterwards, so plan to hang out with your church family.
This who trust in the Lord will gain new strength.
