Hey Friends and Family of TCC,
We’re gearing up for another ministry year together. 2014 has begun with a renewed focus and passion as we refresh ourselves about the reason why God has placed Twin Cities here in Western Nevada County. I want to encourage you with what we’ve covered through January.
We began the year as Fritz Moga gave an inspired message on how God wants to RE:FRESH us when we’re feeling weary or beaten down. The whole idea of the day ended with trust. We have to trust God in order to gain new strength from Him.
We next looked at our 2014 Church Prayer. I’ve not seen this level of engagement since the Jabez Prayer was our focus during 2011. I can’t wait to see how God inspires His people as we pray for bigger dreams each week for a year. I’m already hearing from people who are hearing God speak.
Then on January 19, we focused on Groups. Mark did a great job of reminding us of the value of community. I loved his challenge that we won’t grow spiritually unless we are connected relationally.
Last week I talked about RE:ENGAGE and how we need everyone who calls TCC home to engage in serving and giving so that we can continue to bless our community with the quality of experience they need as they come to our campus. We want to bring God glory through excellence.
This week the service will speak to God’s call on our church to impact our community through the message and love of Jesus Christ. I hope you’ll be with us.
I’m also looking forward to February 9 when I’ll give a clear explanation of the specific Mission we believe God has given us. Then we’ll all come back on Sunday evening at 6:00 and celebrate what God has done through us in the previous year. You will want to be here as we share victories, stories, life-change and baptisms. The coffee bar will be open afterwards, so plan to hang out with your church family.
Those who trust in the Lord will gain new strength,
