I received several comments about the Courtyard Project pictures in the lobby this week. If you haven’t seen them, make sure to look on Sunday or go online and find out more about this new tool we’re going to build to help us in our D3 vision to Encounter God, Experience Community and Extend Compassion. I sat in on a meeting of our Student Ministry Leaders two weeks ago, and they commented on how this tool was going to increase our reach and build community among students.
The Courtyard Project will provide us with a new venue for gathering as a family to have fun together. In order to build this, we’re asking our TCC family to contribute regularly above our normal giving so we can do this debt free. Please consider giving regularly to make this dream a reality. You can give online, by mail, or in your offering envelope on Sunday. Our goal is $6000 per week. Keep this in prayer because we hope to begin work this summer. I can’t wait to see us building community, extending compassion and encountering God as we have fun together.
You’ll want to make sure to be here Sunday as we observe and celebrate Communion together. What a great way to get “Unstuck” with God through remembering the sacrifice Jesus made so that we could have a relationship with God. One way to prepare for Sunday would be to go online and watch last week’s service as we talked about God’s gift of freedom from guilt. I will be talking about healing or changing a damaged self-image on Sunday before we have Communion. I hope you’ll make an extra effort to be here and see clearly what God has made possible.
