Hey Everyone,
Over the past week I was put into a position where I was able to radiate the light of Christ. While in the hospital, I was able to talk to people about Jesus, our church and hear their stories. It was pretty amazing how God allowed me to have this opportunity right after Radiate on January 26. I thank Him for the chance to spread His light right here in our community at our local hospital.
I am so grateful to you for your prayers and ask you to continue speaking to the Father on my behalf. I did end up with an infection in my wound that set me back some this week, but I’m feeling better today and look forward to how God is going to use all of this in my life.
The really good news is that my surgery gave me a 100% cure! I am so grateful for the timing of the diagnosis and the urgency of my docs to act. On a spiritual note, every person is born with a terminal diagnosis from birth. Death will come, but there is a cure. The cure is Jesus Christ. According to the Bible death is no longer our enemy because of what Christ has done for us on the cross. Folks, just as my surgery was urgent and my docs acted expediently, our friends, loved ones, neighbors, co-workers and neighbors need us to step out with the “cure” and share the love of Jesus.
This Sunday, we will focus on the purpose of Jesus and then we’ll all participate in communion together. I hope you’re praying for your one person God wants you to lead to Jesus this year. This would be a great week to invite that person.
We’ll also unveil the Courtyard project you’ve heard me increasingly mention lately. You’ll want to be there to hear about where God is leading us as we move forward in our ability to impact our community through this new tool.
Seeking Jesus with you,
Pastor Ron
