This Week @ Twin Cities Church - Inspire Our Generation!

Hey Everyone,

I set aside some of my Summer time this week and focused on our nation’s birthday as we celebrated our independence as a nation. I hope you did as well. A verse that caught my attention is found in Psalm 33:12. It says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…” I thought about how our nation was founded by men and women who came here for religious purposes – to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to a new land.

98% of our Founding Fathers were Christian in faith and life. Therefore, as they formed our nation’s documents and laws, they set the course of our nation to be “under God.” As people today try to reframe these early documents and revise them, it’s important for us to stand true to our biblical foundation while holding firmly to God’s desire for our nation.

God wants us to be a nation fully committed to Him so He can bless us to be a blessing to the world. Let’s commit as a people to pray for our nation beginning with our President. He needs our prayers. Let’s pray for the Legislative branch of our government. They need our petitions. Let’s pray for the Judicial branch. They need God’s wisdom.

We need to be people of faith who inspire our generation to be people of faith. That’s what our Summer series, The Arena, is all about. Looking to people who lived by faith and being inspired to live by faith ourselves, so that we can inspire a generation to come.

Folks, the direction of our nation begins with the hearts of God’s people. See 2 Chronicles 7:14. I hope you will allow God to work in your heart so that you can become an inspiration and impact the direction of our land.

Seeking to live by faith,

Pastor Ron
