This Week @ Twin Cities Church - Becoming Champions

Hey Everyone,

Did you read these verses from Micah in our daily reading this week? “You, O Bethlehem, are only a small village among all the people of Judah. Yet a ruler of Israel will come from you, one whose origins are from the distant past… And He will stand to lead His flock with the Lord’s strength, in the majesty of the name of the Lord… He will be highly honored around the world. And He will be the source of peace.”

Folks, this is a direct prophecy of the birthplace, origin, Lordship and purpose of Jesus Christ. He is the reason we can have hope and peace in a world of despair and chaos. I was so moved when I read these verses this week to trust even more in God’s promise to bring good out of every situation for those who love Him.

I am not sure what your world is like right now. It could be full of fear, anxiety, uncertainty, despair, or discouragement. Let Jesus remind you today that He is your source of peace. Long before the world was created by our God, the plan was in place. Jesus would come and He would reign over the earth. Will you trust Him?

Our series, The Arena, is all about learning to trust God to do what He says He will do. In fact, the definition of faith that we’re focusing our attention on in this series is: Being sure that God is who He says He is, and that He will do what He says He will do. Each week, we’re looking at characters from God’s Hall of Fame, Hebrews 11. This week, we’ll talk about Abel and Enoch. You will be amazed at how the faith of these two individuals can inspire to become champions instead of victims.

See you Sunday,

Pastor Ron
