This Week at Twin Cities Church!

Hey everybody! I am so looking forward to Sunday’s SPLASH! Our end of the summer picnic is such a great time to connect with our church family, and I want to make sure you all come and jump in with gusto. We’ll have games, The Denny Russell Band, great food to purchase (at church on Sunday), a large grill for your own cooking, a Dunk The Pastor tank, and baptisms.

Of all the things we do, baptisms represent the reason we exist. We exist to connect people in a thriving relationship with Jesus Christ. Baptism is the outward expression of a changed heart. Jesus asked us to identify with Him in this way, and we encourage you to as well. LWW baptisms offer a great “in nature” way to express your faith before your church family.

Here’s the deal: If you’ve made a commitment to Jesus or want to know how, please hit reply to this email and register. Then show up at church for the 9:30 Baptism Class taught by Pastor John. Meet at the Coffee Bar. If you’ve attended Journey 101, we’ll waive the class! Just hit reply to this email and sign up. You’ll be glad you took this next step in your journey with Jesus.

This weekend our “Jesus Stories” series continues as we look at the Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector. If you want, you can read ahead in Luke 18:9-14. This story will free you from the trap of believing your relationship with God is based upon what you do for Him. In fact, the most freeing piece of information you can know is that you can be free because of what Jesus has already done for you.

Listening to Jesus with you,

Pastor Ron
