This Week at Twin Cities - March 17, 2011

Hey everybody, I want to invite you to Victory Night this Sunday at 6:00 p.m. We’ll have our normal morning services and then gather together that night to celebrate God’s work in and through us during 2010. I think you’ll be amazed when you hear from different ministries how God has impacted us and our community. We’ll have great singing, choir, stories of celebration and a potluck dessert bar. Make sure to bring a favorite dessert you want to share with others. I can’t wait.

I’ve had many comments from folks about the impact of our “Relationslips” series. Folks have told me that these messages are just what they needed. I’ve heard this several times: “This is good and hard. We need it.” I would agree with that statement. Relationships are difficult, but it’s even more difficult to put the harmony back in after a relationslip. If you want, you can watch or listen to the past two messages online. You won’t be disappointed that you did.

This Sunday, we’re talking about one of the things that damages relationships in a huge way. We’ll focus on unrestrained anger and how anger hurts others. We’ll learn about how anger alienates us from others. We’ll learn how to control or get a grip on our anger issues. I hope you’ll be there. In fact, people are telling me that they wouldn’t miss this Sunday because they need help in this area. You’ll be mad at yourself if you miss!

I hope you’re still praying the Jabez Challenge. Remember to ask God, “Show me, use me, fill me and guard me.” Make sure to pass on your stories of how God is using this prayer in your life.

Praying with you,

Pastor Ron
