Hey everybody, Sunday is going to be so much FUN! I have really enjoyed the responses to the flyer we put together inviting people to Friend Day this Sunday. We offer a special day twice a year – complete with flyers, activities and excitement – to create inspiring motivation for you to invite your friends. On October 17, Pastor Mark asked us to pray for three friends we could invite for this weekend. Let’s honor those prayers and take a risk in faith to invite those friends. We never know how they will respond. It’s our goal that each service would be full of Twin Cities’ folks and their friends.
I’m going to begin a new series on Sunday called “Captivated: Amazed By God’s Relentless Grace.” I am so excited – almost like a kid before Christmas – because I believe this series will be both informative and inspirational. We’re going to do a study of the song, “Amazing Grace.” I know we’ve heard the words sung and even sung them ourselves in many different settings, but I am not sure we have fully understood the majesty of the words of this famous song. We’re going to look at it verse by verse and let the inspiration of this song touch our hearts. As we do, I believe we will be captivated by God’s relentless grace for US.
Immediately after the 11:15 service on Sunday, we’ll begin transforming our parking lot into a festival. It’s really great to see how the FFF team has connected so many from our church family to make this such a FUN event. If you’ve not yet signed up to help, please show up because we’ll need all the help we can get to pull this off together.
