This Week at Twin Cities - June 17, 2010

Hey everybody, It’s time for summer vacations. As you know Kimberly and I are on a trip of a lifetime to the Holy Land. I ask you to pray for us and the rest of our TCC family who are with us, that we will have a supernatural encounter as we visit the same places Jesus did 2000 years ago. Wow! I can’t wait to share with you the wonderful experiences we get to have together.

As we enter into vacation time, I know it’s a time for family, fun, time on the lake, camping in the Sierra, and vacations. It’s also a time of strategic ministry in the life of our church. I want to ask you to remember your giving to God during the summer months. Our expenses can often times be highest in the summer, while giving can be the lowest. I am asking God that our giving would surpass our expenses this summer. That has not happened all year. Imagine how encouraging it would be to celebrate together God’s faithfulness.

Will you pray about our giving with me? Our finances have been a major concern and stress on my heart for some time. I appreciate our Finance Team, and their guidance so much. Just like some of you, our church has never been in a negative cash flow before. The only way to ride out this storm is for us to spend less and give more. Our staff is doing all it can to spend the minimum. We need our church family to do all it can to give the maximum.

Will you pray about this with me? We want to be poised in the fall to reach out to our community and world in even greater ways. But that will require us to have the staff, resources, and faithful volunteers to do so.
