This Week @ Twin Cities Church - BBQ Bash and Baptisms!

Hey Everyone,

It’s time for our summer picnic at Lake Wildwood. It’s supposed to be great weather for hanging out with our church family, eating amazing food and listening to awesome music. Our theme is BBQ Bash and Baptisms, and I invite you to join us. The key moment of the day will be AFTER we’ve all eaten, played and consumed our ice cream. I’m talking about the baptisms. We typically have a large number of people who make this their moment to “go public” for Jesus. I guess it’s the outdoor aspect that draws people. Just like Jesus, you can be baptized in nature.

If you want to be baptized at the park, please attend the baptism class this Sunday. I encourage you take this awesome step toward intimacy with Jesus as you identify with Him in His death and resurrection. Be at the Coffee Bar at 9:30.

This week, we’ll continue our series we’re calling “Encouragement for Today’s Family.” Thank you so much for your positive and thoughtful comments from last week. On Sunday, we’ll talk about how our families can become financially fit. This message will be for everyone because money is so central to our lives – even if you live by yourself.

Dads, I want to thank you for your input and suggestions regarding your top needs as a dad. I am looking forward to Father’s Day where we’ll talk about what guys want and need most in their journey to be the best father they can. You won’t want to miss this.

Looking forward to seeing you Sunday!
