Hey Everyone,
I’m always so moved by your hearts! Sunday was so inspiring to me as I walked around the lobby and auditorium watching you relate to the friends you had invited. Way to go! I got to meet many of them, and it was a privilege. Thank you for taking this risk. You may never know how you were part of that person’s faith journey.
The Reality of Heaven service on Sunday was pretty incredible. I am so grateful for all those who helped us roll out the red carpet for our friends and family. Thank you for being so friendly and gracious to everyone who came. If you couldn’t attend, you might want to consider watching the service online.
This Sunday I am going to talk about the Reality of Hell, and I would appreciate your prayers. I want to be able to present this topic in a way that won’t be a barrier for people, and yet will allow the truth of God’s word to speak clearly. You may not know this, but Jesus taught more about Hell than He did Heaven. Hell is the reason God gave His Son. He wants us to be free from that destination.
I know you may think I’m crazy, but I believe this is the best day possible to invite your friends and family. I promise you that I won’t be heavy-handed. I’ll just share the truth of what God says as clearly as possible in a loving and caring way.
Many of you have responded positively to the Bible series on the History Channel. Each Sunday (check your provider for time) they are broadcasting a movie depicting many stories from the Bible. I watched it last Sunday and found it to be intriguing and interesting. Just a heads up, the director took some liberty at times in telling the Bible story – movie style – but it’s a great way to get a broad view of God’s word to us for those who have never read it or who just want to be refreshed.
Learning to walk in God's reality,
**Reminder** Remember to set your clocks forward one hour for Daylight Savings this weekend!
