Hey Everyone, Sunday was just amazing as we learned about and experienced corporate worship – the moment we have each week when God invites us to come be with Him and His people. Have you ever viewed Sunday that way? God has issued a standing invitation for you to come each week. He does this because of how He made us to need each other. If you weren’t here on Sunday, I want to invite you to watch the service and listen to how much God longs to meet with all of us each week.
We’re in the second week of participant sign-ups for the 40 Days In The Word spiritual emphasis we’ll launch this fall. If you’re in a Community Group, you’re all set, but if you’re not please make sure to look for the Participant Sign-up Cards in Sunday’s program. You’ll get the chance to choose from a list of the groups available for this great series. I hope everyone who calls Twin Cities home will join us for this journey.
The emphasis begins with a preview week on October 14. That is also Friend Day. Please invite your friends and family to hear where we’re going for the next few weeks so they can join in as well. Then the week of October 21, we officially launch all our groups. Every time we’ve done one of these spiritual emphases we’ve encountered God, experienced community and been able to extend compassion in a way that is nothing short of supernatural. You won’t want to miss out.
This week we’re going to download “The Speech App.” Our words have the power to tear down or build up. Let’s discover how God wants our words to impact others.
