This Week @ Twin Cities Church!

Hey everybody. You fill me up. Yes, that’s right. Your teachable hearts fill me up. I have been so thrilled by the response to this series as we’ve been able to see how each one of us struggles with each of the sins. Not one of us has been left out or untouched by God’s probing Spirit. The first step to breaking free from the grip of deadly desire has been the same each week. Freedom begins with an acceptance, admission or acknowledgement that comes from transparency before God.

This weekend we’re going to talk about LUST. I want to encourage everyone of you to be here this weekend. You may not believe you struggle with lust. I would like to believe that is true, but I know what reality is.
This weekend is not about pointing fingers or piling on guilt. It’s about becoming free. Really free. That’s why we’ve included Communion as part of our experience together so that we can clearly understand and accept the freedom Jesus offers. He wants you to be free from the guilt and pain lust produces.

Fall Family Festival preparation is kicking off in a huge way. In fact, you can go online and sign up to serve. FFF is a huge event that draws people from all over Western Nevada County, and we need all of our family to be involved. This event helps people see church as there for them instead of here to take from them.

October 30th is our Fall Friend Day. Our church was built on the courage of ordinary people inviting their unchurched friends. When we were smaller, we would tease each other, “Show us that you have friends. Bring them.” On Friend Day, we will roll out our red carpet so that your friends have the best experience we can offer and connect with God’s love for them.

See you Sunday,

Pastor Ron
