This Week at Twin Cities - January 27, 2011

Hey everybody, I can’t tell you how often I hear pastors talk about their churches and how they just can’t get folks to serve or give. I want you to know that in my 19 years as pastor I have never felt that way about you. Sunday was another day for you to show the heart you have for God and others. 257 of you signed up to serve in some capacity in ministry! Wow, this is exciting and a great sign for our future potential.

Many of you have already received phone calls or emails from ministry leaders to help you know how to take the next step so that you get plugged in. I want to ask you to make their task easier by returning their calls or emails promptly. I also want to ask you for patience as the ministry leaders do their best to contact you and answer all your questions. Lastly I want to ask you to take the next step to finding or discovering your place of service. It’s not a life-time obligation. It’s simply a place where you can get your feet wet and test out the waters.

If you missed Sunday, you’ll want to listen or watch the message. I described how you can discover the fulfillment and joy of serving.

Here are several events you’ll want to make plans to attend –

Journey Classes – January 30 at 3pm

Baptisms – February 6 – attend the class this Sunday at 9:35am

Rethink Leadership – February 12 at 8:30am – a great opportunity for everyone who wants to grow

I look forward to seeing you this Sunday as we talk about Radical Prayer. I hope you’ll all be ready to hear the challenge God has laid on my heart for our church family concerning this prayer.

Pastor Ron
